  This week I was able to finalize my schedule for TGen so I will be going to their office on Fridays from 8 am to 2 pm starting next Friday. I am extremely excited to start there, though I might need to rewatch Doctor Who because their labs were full of Doctor Who references and I only knew a handful.  I have also decided to continue my project from last semester since most of the time is just waiting for gemination. This time we are growing peas so today I planted 20 pea seeds in 10 pots. I was talking to Cassandra about my project and how I was thinking about adding another stressor, and she had a great idea for me to potentially use some water or bacteria that she will be dealing with for her project. I would have to talk to Josh and Cotter about it but we will see!

  This week I had my calc 2 and public speaking class, along with meeting with the TI Kathleen over at TGen. I have decided that I will be continuing my project on plant acoustics and starting a new one at TGEN. I don't have the full details on the TGEN project yet but I will once I have worked out the details on my schedule. It will be a very long and very busy semester but I am confident that I will be fine in the end. I wanna do as much as I can this semester so I have more experience to put on my resume for when I start applying for REU's soon.
